One of the main reasons I chose the Cadiz program at Abbey Road is
definitely the homestay aspect of it. I wanted an experience where I could
completely immerse myself in the culture and the language of Spain, and
living with a local family will definitely provide that. Also, having
thought about my future, and more specifically about my college career, I
have been thinking a lot about minoring in Spanish. Going to Abbey Road and
furthering my knowledge of the spanish language will hopefully bring me one
step closer to my goal of being fluent. During my month in Cadiz i hope to
make friends that I will keep in contact with in the future, and also to
have an experience that I will not soon forget. With the added bonus of
being able to photograph anything and everything, I hope to also further my
knowledge and passion of the art of photography in Cadiz.
